Sovereign edge software  ·  Australian engineered

The network fails.
The mission doesn’t.

JEGASEC builds sovereign, edge-first software for environments where connectivity is contested, congested or absent. Continuity scores every available link, applies mission policy, and moves traffic before an operator notices the drop.

With the network unchanged, SATCOM is chosen over the faster 5G because the mission weights reliability and resilience above raw throughput.

01  —  The problem

Every link fails in its own way. Most systems only notice once the operator has.

Platforms in the field carry four or five bearers and use one at a time. When it degrades, someone reconnects by hand — mid-task, under load, at the worst possible moment.

CELLULAR

Congests

Shared with every other user in the cell. Throughput collapses exactly when the incident starts.

SATELLITE

Drops

Terrain, weather and geometry take the link without warning and give it back without notice.

RADIO

Gets jammed

Contested spectrum is a design assumption, not an edge case. The bearer is there and useless.

WI-FI / WIRED

Saturates

Fine until the depot fills up. Then it is the slowest path on the platform and still the default.

02  —  Continuity

One pool of links. One policy. No one reconnecting anything by hand.

Continuity is an edge-resident communications orchestrator. It treats cellular, satellite, radio, Wi-Fi and wired as a single pool, and holds the session across whichever of them is currently worth using.

CELLULAR SATELLITE RADIO WI-FI 0.740.310.150.49 Mission policy SCORE · SELECT · HOLD ACTIVE: CELLULAR Session held NO OPERATOR ACTION MULTIPLE LINKS → LIVE SCORING → AUTOMATIC FAILOVER → CONNECTION HELD
01  OBSERVE

Measure every link

Continuous, per-bearer measurement of what each path is actually delivering right now — not what it advertised when it came up.

02  DECIDE

Score and select

Mission policy weighs the scores. A conventional selector optimises for connectivity. Continuity optimises for the mission.

03  MAINTAIN

Hold the connection

Traffic moves to the better path while the session stays up. The operator keeps working; nothing asks them to reconnect.

Why the policy is the product

Anyone can pick the fastest link. The hard part is knowing which traffic must survive the next ten minutes — and being willing to spend a worse path on it.

03  —  Where it stands

We publish what is real, what is being proven, and what we will not claim.

Defence and critical-infrastructure buyers are asked to believe a lot of roadmaps. This is the alternative: a standing, public statement of maturity you can hold us to.

05  —  Design partners

A small number of partners, chosen for the environments they operate in.

We are validating Continuity against representative hardware and real operational constraints. Partners get the engineer who wrote it, not an account manager — and their constraints shape what ships. We do not have design partners yet; if this is your environment, we want to talk.

“I spent five years in uniform watching capable people lose the link and lose the tempo with it. Continuity is the thing I wanted on the platform then — built here, owned here, and honest about what it can do today.”
