Both are, at their core, the same problem: a stream of raw signals — GPS positions, sensor readings, network telemetry, spectrum activity — that only becomes useful once it's correlated, contextualised, and turned into something a person can act on. We apply the same engineering discipline to both, which means capability built for one domain regularly strengthens the other.

Gobi Jegarajasingham
Founder, JEGASEC
Gobi is a graduate of the Australian Defence Force Academy, where he completed a Bachelor of Computing and Cyber Security. Before founding JEGASEC, he served as an Electronic Warfare Systems Engineer in the Royal Australian Air Force, working across telecommunications, satellite and space systems, and information systems.
During his studies, Gobi completed an internship and final-year capstone project with a Canberra-based, veteran-owned cyber security firm, working directly with its leadership through UNSW Canberra's Launch initiative. The project focused on countering network degradation by automating a dynamic shift to more optimal networks — early hands-on work in the same territory JEGASEC now builds on: turning raw signal into a system that adapts and responds on its own.
That background — electronic warfare, cyber security, and defence communications infrastructure — is why JEGASEC treats fleet security and cyber–EW fusion as one discipline rather than two separate businesses.

We build working systems, not slideware. If a capability can't run in production, it isn't a capability yet.

Fleets get attacked through networks. Networks get exploited through physical access. We design for the seams, not just the silos.
